Hospitality

Designed for the second booking.

A guest remembers the arrival, the first night and the view from the bath. An owner remembers what it cost to run. We design for both, from the first drawing.

How we think about hospitality

  1. The guest journey

Arrival, suite, shared spaces, the bathroom. Each moment designed on purpose.

  2. The operation

Housekeeping routes, storage, back of house. A room has to work for the guest and for the housekeeper.

  3. The setting

Salt air at the coast, dust on the plains. Materials chosen to last where they live.

  4. Scale

Furniture, fixtures and finishes for every key, sourced through SORCD Project.

  5. Start early

With TVB™, the guest experience is designed before the rooms are drawn.

Hospitality questions

Have you completed a hotel or lodge before?

Not yet. Our completed work is high end residential: homes where every room, finish and piece of joinery is drawn, costed and managed through to handover. A lodge or boutique hotel needs the same discipline, repeated across every key. That is why we are taking on two founding hospitality projects.

Do you work on short and long stay rentals?

Yes, from KES 3 million in fit out and furnishing value. Short stay homes and serviced apartments sit between residential and hospitality, and we design them to earn: durable, quick to service and memorable enough to rebook. This is the value of the works, not our fee.
